Everything you need to know about Burlington's Food Truck Festival

Coming up this weekend is Canadian Food Truck's very first festival in Burlington, Ontario. Canadian Food Truck Festivals currently produces four Food Truck Festivals: Toronto Food Truck Festival, Pickering Food Truck Festival, Richmond Hill Food Truck Festival and in 2017 the organization will host the inaugural Burlington Food Truck Festival in Spencer Smith Park. Serving up some of the best food from the country, this is a festival you won’t want to miss. In light of the "food truck" festival, the entire festival is end to end of delicious food trucks with dishes varying from pasta to funnel cakes. Show some of your Burlington love by bringing your friends and family. Oh and don’t forget, there will be local performers geared to entertain the masses! And the best part, it's free admission into the festival, but for one weekend only!

Where is this event located?
Spencer Smith Park
Situated within the Waterfront at Downtown Burlington, Spencer Smith Park features a wide promenade that offers a magnificent view of the lake, beach and Skyway Bridge while sitting on the breakway, walking, cycling or rollerblading. Spencer Smith Park is home to many of the City of Burlington’s signature festival and events.
What is there for me to do?
Burlington's Food Truck Festival features over 30+ food trucks with unlimited variety of different dishes. Make your way around the entire park with trying a dish per truck on the way! Or, enjoy the live entertainment going on as the festival goes on.

1. The Meltdown Cheesery
Meltdown Cheesery is a Toronto based food truck specializing in everything cheesy. Enjoy gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and ooey gooey mac and cheese.

2. Alfie's Lemonade

Specializing in serving fresh squeezed lemonade and fresh brewed iced tea. You'll find Jessica and her beautiful big smile serving at many festivals, special events and food truck rally's around Niagara, London and the GTA.

3. Bake Three Fifty

Bake Three Fifty is a Toronto based food truck serving up build your own cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches. Customize each dessert with toppings like sprinkles, gummy bears, cotton candy, peanuts, candied bacon and more.

4. My Sticky Rice

My Sticky Rice is a Mississauga based food truck specializing in fresh fruit creations. They combine fresh fruits and sweet sauces with sweet sticky rice. Smoothies are also available for purchase.

5. Buster's Sea Cove

Buster’s Sea Cove has been a St. Lawrence Market mainstay for over a decade, serving up—as its name would suggest—an array of seafood that’s beloved for its simple but flavorful preparation and freshness. Their food truck—Toronto’s first seafood food truck, in fact—follows suit, with a concise but well-executed menu of dishes that are a departure from the original location’s menu, and utterly suitable for a roadside chow down. Seeing consistently long line-ups during summer months, you can count on fish tacos, and seafood rolls with the snacker-friendly addition of a bag of Miss Vickie’s.
